The Birds, the Bees, and the Elephant in the Room

Talking to Your Kids About Sex and Other Sensitive Topics

Eventually, all parents are faced with their children's uncomfortable questions about topics ranging from self-exploration and periods to how babies are made. Now, Rachel Coler Mulholland, known as Shug to her nearly 800,000 TikTok followers, can help navigate those awkward moments. As a nationally certified counselor with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and as a mom of young children herself, Rachel provides a strong foundation for having productive conversations on complex subjects - no matter the kid's age. Learn how to respond with confidence to questions like What's an orgasm? Why does it feel good to rub my swimsuit parts? What does it mean to pop somebody's cherry? Why does it hurt when I get my period? Is looking at pornography bad? How do I know if I love someone? Rachel's frank and funny tone and helpful age-appropriate sample scripts will arm any parent with the tools to have all the talk and keep their kids safe.
